well as i was chillin at work the other day bored out of my skull; I started to think of my time playin FF. When i first started and what not then a thought struck me why don't i post so all can read it >.> so here goes.

well back when i was in the marines some of my buddies played FFXI when i found out that they did i wanted to check it out so went over and watched them play for a while asked questions and whatnot. well after awhile i said the hell wit it i'm just gonna try myself so my buddy let me make a character on his profile and thus bopeep the taru was born!!! (DUN DUN DUN!!! lol) well i always loved mage jobs so i decided i wanted to be a whm i chose sandoria as my home nation and went on my way. My first reaction was "HOLY CRAP THIS PLACE IS HUUUGGGEEEE!!!!" and then the famous question whats with the colored dots by people's name???? and whas with the ? by my name?? questions aside i check my inventory and i my find my first spell cure w00t! so i learn it and i go out and try to fight some mobs.

killed some wabbits and leveled "alright" so i keep running along and low and behold here comes and orc out of no where >.> obviously i die after i hp i stay close and fight more wabbits again. I gain some more lvls die some more rinse repeat. well sooner or later i make my way to "The Dunes" ; ;where i meet my first PL a hume male named Meetfred. We talk make friends then he tells me to start trying to kill some lizzies solo >.< I'm like OMG NOEZ i will get PWNd he says no i won't to just try so i resign to my fate and attack the lizzie he hits me for like 45 dmg i have 60 hp atm i believe >.> O.O so i start trying to heal i can't but then my hp goes back up and the lizzie starts attacking my new bud O.o? long story short that was my first dunes party and it wasn't all that bad.

Well uncountable amounts of death and lvls later i have my lvl 63 whm and my uber 75 BLU <(^.~)> well seeing as we are on the verge of a new FF MMORPG i thought it would be a little apporiate to reflect on our olg starts in light of the new ones we r going to make in XIV. look forward to reading about peoples first reaction to the massive world of vana'diel was like.

=o i remember i first made an elvaan. started in san'doria. i ended up being in cait sith. i was just to see how things went. cuz my friend (clownfyre) was in fishyserver. so i did that in the mean time bfor he got the ticket thing for me (bfor u can choose severs). so then wen he got it deleted my tallie n made a shortie. thres so much for me to put here its ridiculous.. the first friend i met was peleilei. we did a whmtaru n blmtaru duotaru xD. then she intorduced me to her rl friend ahlazeph n we did some of the first missions for windy. to this day i still talk to them (ahlazeph more, shes the most active out of my very early friends) this was nearly 4 years ago. wen i went out on my taruventures n left sarutabaruta. i was told about dunes n went out to tahrongi then to bubu n was scared there x.x the gobs were mean.. then 2 ppl(sad i cant remember their names) n they helped me find my way to mauhra. they were in juicyfruits, my first ls. the elvaan girl "adopted" me hahah n i became the LS babytaru XD i really miss thos days.. then joined the soulreapers wen i met my bigsistaru myasha in qufim n even met bobobbobobobtaru there XD geez its crazy looking back.

even tho im really active on aion it cant compare to how much ffxi meant to me wen it comes down to all the relationships ive made with everyone. the interaction between ppl on ffxi is so much different than any other mmo n not a lot of people realized that wen they always wanna compare shit to WoW. sure you have to pt so daym much in ffxi in order to get anywhere and it takes so much time vs WoW n newer mmo's. the big difference is that u establish friendships wen ur in pt. games like aion WoW u can pretty much grind solo n never really make a strong impact on someone and vise versa. not to say u dont make friends on thos games, its just ive made close friends in ffxi. i really dont think it will be like that on aion even tho i made a few friends.

one of the main reasons u dont see jonditaru doing his tarudances anymore is cuz almost everyone i made a real strong frienship with is gone =[ the game really isnt the same without them. we all should figure out server stuff n try to get on together. i really hope that ffxiv gives me the same feeling ffxi did. really hope to see most of the ES ppl.. all the originals. my big summonithra sis's n tacotaru beertaru buddy XD n bobobobobobotaru. they better put some awesome tarudances! err.. laladances? x.x felldances? x.x lalafelldances? x.x

i completely agree wit u jondi that right there is the main reason i got hooked on FFXI in the first place instead of other MMO's
